Thank you very much, everyone, for your suggestions! I will pass these along (and read them myself).

Best,
Paul

Subject: [Linganth] Publications on Du Ponceau and 18th-19th century North American linguistics

Hi all,

A colleague is looking for writing on especially Peter Stephen Du Ponceau's contributions to the history of linguistics through his work on Native American languages. Does anyone know of any good publications that deal with this?

Thanks,
Paul Sutherland
