The research may include the fields of psychology, education, sociology, communication studies, anthropology, and data science as it applies to social sciences and other social science disciplines and fields. 25% of the Fellowship is devoted to developing the Center’s programs, which may involve mentoring undergraduate research fellows. The fellowship will provide a salary based on the candidate’s qualifications. Research and travel allowance may be provided. Health insurance will be provided. This position is a 12-month appointment beginning September 2019, with a possibility of 2nd year, upon evaluation.

> Applicants must have completed all of the requirements for a Ph.D., except for the dissertation, in a Social Sciences interdisciplinary field (e.g., psychology, education, anthropology, data science, information science, sociology) at the time of application.
> Additional qualifications:

> Research in at least one of the following areas, data science, Black/African American Studies, African Diaspora.
> Preferred qualifications:
> Knowledge or experience in quantitative methodologies.
> Ability to interact and work collaboratively
> Ability to work with undergraduates
> Ability to work independently
