Geographic and topical specialization is open. Candidates should have a strong record of extended ethnographic research in particular communities that are historically marginalized or underrepresented, and their work should be informed by collaborative research methodologies and related theory. The successful candidate will build theoretical or methodological arguments on skillful ethnographic description and analysis.

Broad knowledge of the discipline of anthropology is required.
