Thanks Sandhya,

I’ve tried that filter several times. While it turns up a good number of SLA panels, it doesn’t yield ones like the 2 sessions in honor of Judy Irvine on Thurs. or the Cognitive Linguistics & Social Meaning on Friday a.m.

A member of the Friday panel suggested that it’s because these are in-person sessions (with some virtual presenters), and that only the virtual sessions turn up on the online agenda (too smart by half). That’s at least true if you go in through the link sent to those who registered as virtual attendees, like me, though I see no indication of that limitation on the site itself. It may be that there’s another way to link to the program that gives you the whole nine yards.

Best,
Kit

Dear Kit,

In response to your question about the app- I would suggest using the "Session Category" filter and filter out all events that are tagged as "Society for Linguistic Anthropology". This method to finding panels seems to be better than simply searching by name or title of the panel. The one problem is that you will have to scroll down the entire list to find the exact panel that you want. But hopefully the pre-circulated program will help you in locating the panel for a specific day/time.

Best,
S
