<P style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 12pt">This panel is part of a series of lunch hour
workshops on professionalism in anthropology sponsored by the Committee on the
Status of Women in Anthropology (COSWA). This year our speakers provide concrete
suggestions for sucessful interviewing and negotiating techniques when applying
for an academic job. The struggles, slip-ups, and the successes that the
panelists have observed will be presented with special attention to any gender
differences they have noted during the interview and negotiating
