Candidates must have field experience working in one or more languages other than English. Regional expertise in Asia, Oceania, or the Americas preferred. The successful candidate will teach introductory and upper division undergraduate courses in linguistic and cultural anthropology; maintain an active research program; seek external funding; and provide service to the university and the profession. Ph.D. in anthropology required by time of appointment.
