</table><p class="MsoNormal">EQRC is a national, juried research conference. Each word is important when explaining the
nature of the venue to a tenure/promotion committee. We are a national, compared to a state or
regional conference, in the sense that scholars from all over the U.S.—as well
as typically over two dozen countries—participate at the conference. It is juried in that we send all proposals to
scholars for peer-review. This is a
double-blind process whereby neither the author nor the reviewer is aware of
the other’s identity. Naturally, such
protocol helps provide for a potentially honest and straightforward peer-review
process. All proposals are sent to at
least two different peer-reviewers in order to help ensure well rounded
feedback and opinions. As noted in a
prior message, reviewers are asked to complete a proposal review within two
weeks of its reception. Reviewer
recommendations may include accept, reject, and/or revise-resubmit.<o:p></o:p></p></td>

Research Conference (EQRC). </span></b>EQRC is sponsored this year by the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) College of Education. </p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The conference will be held on <b>January 30 – 31, 2017</b> at the Flamingo Hotel in <b>Las Vegas, Nevada</b> with a special
conference room rate of <b>$49</b> per
