Major responsibilities will be: attending the SLA board meeting at the annual meeting of the AAA, and possibly an AAA-level meeting of student representatives; providing student perspectives on SLA programming and events; and taking leadership roles for developing areas of particular interest to anthropology students. The term is two years, from the end of the 2017 AAA meetings in December until the end of the 2019 AAA meetings.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;font-size:12.8px;line-height:normal"><span style="font-size:12pt"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;font-size:12.8px;line-height:normal"><span style="font-size:12pt">To submit an application for consideration by the Executive Board, please prepare a brief 250 word statement outlining interest in serving on the Executive Board, your involvement with linguistic anthropology, and ideas you have for continuing to strengthen student involvement and representation in the SLA.
