APPLICATION<br>
The application deadline for admission and for funding opportunities is December

Three especially important aspects of the application are: (1) the admissions
essay, (2) your writing sample, and (3)a list of at least 3 faculty members who
might be interested in your project.  We ask this because we are, of
course, very interested in admitting students who have a direct interest in

FUNDING<br>
We usually have 15 or so fellowships available for cultural and linguistic
anthropology students per year. Each is guaranteed some form of financial
support ranging from tuition scholarship to full stipends of $25,000 per year
for five years (the latter includes teaching) and a possible supplement.
