      The Society for Anthropology of Work would like to start finding

      out how the AAA could make the process of being on the job market

      less arduous.  There are many<br>

      large structural changes that the AAA can not do, so this is a

      survey that is not asking for a revolution, just exploring if

      there are small practical shifts in current anthropological hiring<br>

      practices that could make a difference.<br>

      If you are currently on the job market, please fill out this

      survey.  And please circulate this to people you know on the

      anthropology job market who may not be<br>

      on this list.  SAW will then start advocating for the changes that

      most people recommend (including lowering<br>

      the conference registration fees, a request several people are

      making in the comments).<br>
