The Department of Sociology & Anthropology invites applications for a
tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Anthropology,
effective Fall 2020. Potential candidates must have a primary research
area in urban anthropology, with a strong record of ethnographic
research on migration, sociolinguistics, or sustainability. The
successful candidate will be expected to maintain a vigorous research
program and teach introductory anthropology courses, as well as advanced
courses in their area of interest. To be considered, candidates must
have at least one scholarly work accepted for publication or have
secured extra-institutional research funding. Candidates must have a
Ph.D. in anthropology completed by the effective starting date of
employment.</div><p>
