<div dir="ltr"><div>Dear Colleagues,</div><div><br></div><div>Happy new year! May the year 2022 bring you joy and success! On the coming Thursday (January
13, 2022) EASA Network on Linguistic Anthropology (ELAN) will host a workshop to pay tribute to Jan Blommaert's
scholarship. All are welcome to come and join us. The workshop will start at 2:00 pm GMT. In
this workshop we will discuss two of Jan's writings as a respectful way
to honour his legacy. Dr. Robert E. Moore and Dr. Jenny-louise Van der
Aa, two of Jan's long-term friends in academia, have kindly agreed to
take up the role of discussant. The chosen readings are listed below. <br></div><div><br></div><div><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.2;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt" id="gmail-m_7989908734441368669gmail-docs-internal-guid-91f4d4ca-7fff-a67b-fad3-ff8874d3d622"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Blommaert, Jan.
