<p>Hello all,</p>
<p>The abstract submission deadline is fast approaching for the <b>Lavender
Languages and Linguistics Conference 29</b>, held at Boise State
University in Boise, ID March 9-11, 2023. Abstracts must be
submitted no later than <b>11:59pm MST Friday, November 18, 2022</b>!
The conference will be held in-person with a virtual option
available.<br>
</p>
<p>We seek abstracts on the role of language (broadly defined) in
understanding aspects of gender and sexuality. Additional details
are available on the website (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://tinyurl.com/lavlang29">https://tinyurl.com/lavlang29</a>) and
panel or individual paper submissions should be made through Easy
Chair (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=lavlang29">https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=lavlang29</a>). There
is also a graduate student work-in-progress session that has a
separate submission process. Information on this session is on the
website, and submissions and questions for this session only
should be directed to Dr. Lucy Jones at

<p>Acceptances will go out at the end of December, and registration
and hotel information will also be available on the website by the
end of December. </p>
<p>This conference is a welcoming space, and frequently has
undergraduate, graduate, faculty, and independent scholars present
material. Please share with your students and colleagues who may
be interested in presenting and/or attending the conference.<br>
