query: compound order

Dear typologists:

I am looking for any works testing a putative correlation between word
order types (e.g. head-final vs. head-initial) and compound ordering
(e.g. Spanish 'coche-cama' vs. English 'milk-cow').

I'd also be interested, in general, in the cross-linguistic
distribution of compound orders and their productivity.

Thanx in advance, G.A.
