Dear all,
Has anybody thought about relative frequency of passive forms being dependent on the semantic transitivity of the resprective two-place verb? In other words, does it happen that passive forms of high-transitivity verbs are more frequent in a language than passives of low-transitives? Or does it happen that certain low-transtives have troubles forming their passive?
