Dear ALT members,

At this year's conference in Albuquerque, ALT will present the Panini
award for a grammar passed as a dissertation in 2011-2014. The jury of
the award has now made its decision. The award winner is:

Linda Konnerth of the University of Oregon, who will receive the Panini
award for her dissertation "A grammar of Karbi", defended at the
University of Oregon in 2014.

She will present a plenary lecture at ALT11 in Albuquerque
<http://www.unm.edu/~alt2015/>.

The jury also selected four grammars for honourable mention:

- Ahland, Michael. 2012. A grammar of northern Mao. University of Oregon.
- Schokkin, Dineke. 2014. A grammar of Paluai: the language of Balluan
Island, Papua New Guinea. James Cook University.
- Touati, Benjamin. 2014. Description du sakao, langue océanienne du
Nord-est Santo (Vanuatu) (A description of Sakao, an Oceanic language of
Northeast Santo (Vanuatu)). Paris IV-Sorbonne.
- Zariquiey Biondi, Roberto. 2011. A grammar of Kashibo-Kakataibo. La
Trobe University.

We are very grateful to Nick Enfield, who chaired the Panini jury, and
