Call for Papers: The 6th Meeting of Signed and Spoken Language Linguistics (SSLL2017) (abstract deadline extended)

SSLL is an annual conference held for the promotion of sign language linguistics, and also for a better understanding of human language by comparing and analyzing signed and spoken languages. We invite presentations (30 minutes presentation, followed by 10 minutes questions and answers) on any topics related to sign languages linguistics and/or a comparison between signed and spoken languages. English/Japanese, ASL/English, JSL/Japanese interpretation will be provided and the presentations will be webcast on Ustream.

■Abstracts should be in English (no more than 500 words, both in a PDF and MS-Word or other modifiable format) should be submitted to SSLL2017.submit [at] minpaku.ac.jp Do NOT include the name(s) of the authors in the attached files.
■Please write the following in the subject line: SSLL abstract submission. In the body of the message, please indicate the title of the presentation, the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation, and the corresponding author's e-mail address.
Abstract submission due: April 30, 2017 (extended) Acceptance notification: May 31, 2017 *Those who need the notification earlier, please specify when you submit an abstract.
