Dear colleagues,

Here at the Surrey Morphology Group we’re documenting our tradition of open research, for university-internal consumption. We’re aware that some of you may use SMG databases in your teaching and research. If you do so, would you send us a line or two to tell us? For instance “In my third year morphology class, students use the Surrey Morphological Complexity Database in one assignment”. (Naturally, we have web traffic data but it doesn’t reveal the full richness of the story.)

Rather than replying to the list, would you please send an email to: e.round at surrey.ac.uk<mailto:e.round at surrey.ac.uk>

Among other benefits, this will help us argue for the resources to keep maintaining and producing these open research outputs that SMG is known for. Many thanks in advance!

Very best,
Erich Round and Sacha Beniamine, for SMG
