[Lingtyp] Typology of sentence fragments

Dear all,

Has anyone looked at sentence fragments from a typological perspective? Do
languages typically allow the same kinds of constituents to occur as
felicitous stand-alone utterances? Do they tend to occur with the same
discourse functions?
