<P>While the list of languages representing non nasal sounds for negation is getting bigger and bigger, one can add to the list Great Andamanese, one of the oldest languages of the world spoken in the Andamans. The negative marker is [pho]. Contrary to this the other languages spoken in the Andaman Islands, such as Jarawa and Onge have nasals in the negative markers. Jarawa has [mode/node] and Onge uses [mO]. </P>
