class="moz-txt-tag"></span></b>
With this new annual non-thematic issue, the Faits de Langues review changes to
a frequency of three issues per year from 2008 : a thematic issue, an issue
dedicated to a given area, and an issue with the subtitle : Les cahiers
This new framework with less publishing constraints aims at making it easier for
recent works or works in hand about the diversity of the languages spoken in the
world to come out. It will stand as a place where it is easy to think out this
question as broad-mindedly as possible in a descriptive as well as in a
theoretical approach
Conditions of submission
The papers must discuss a wide range of empirical and theoretical data on one or
several languages, and open or work out specific theoretical perspectives
concerning general linguistics.
Contrary to issues dedicated to a special theme or area, les Cahiers will not
represent a mini-colloquium, but will offer various headings organizing the
questions under study in the issue.
Conditions of submission
The review focusses around the diversity of the languages and of the
theoretical frameworks. Submissions are received at any time of the year. The
papers should not excede about 30 pages (60 000 characters, including spaces)
and can be written either in French or English.
The paper must be checked by a native speaker before submission.
The format of the first submission is free, preferably in the double format .doc
and .pdf. It will be read over anonymously by two readers appointed for their
competence in the field in question. The editorial board reserves the right to
ask for changes before the publication. After acceptance, the paper must be
presented by the author in the FdL style sheet . It must include a
bibliography, as well as an abstract in French and English, and possibly in a
third language chose by the author.
