I have not been able to find a suitable PhD candidate in
"Phylolinguistics" within my eurasia3angle project at the MPI in Jena
yet, I re-opened </font><font color="#1c1c1c" face="Times New Roman">the position</font><font color="#1c1c1c" face="Times New Roman" size="3">. </font><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The
position is for up to 4 years, beginning September 1<sup>st</sup>, 2016.</span></p>

addition to an interest in applying computational methods in phylogenetic
linguistics, candidates should have knowledge of one or more Transeurasian
languages and ideally, also sufficient command of Russian to access grammars and
language descriptions. Given the specialisation already present in our team, a
researcher with some Tungusic or Mongolic knowledge would be most compatible.</span></p>
