<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:12pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:115%"><span style="background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%">Nominations and self-nominations for the Scientific Committee are now open. Members must be ALT members and must have a Ph.D.</span><br><br><b><span style="background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%">Workload of the Scientific Committee:</span></b><br><span style="background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%">Abstract reading will take place in late January to early February.</span><br><span style="background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%">Scientific Committee members will read abstracts in their own subfields.</span><br><span style="background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%">The
 number of abstracts per member will probably be 5-15 (it depends on the
