<b>full-time PhD student</b> in the domain of semantic typology (tense-aspect), for a period of four years. The PhD project ‘A semantic typology of present-tense constructions’ that the PhD researcher will working on studies the manifestation of the so-called
“present perfective paradox” in a typologically adequate sample of languages. Its goal is to analyze the characteristics of present-tense constructions and their interaction with aspect, on the basis of existing grammars, questionnaires and advanced elicitation
techniques. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
