<html><body><div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000"><div><div><div><div style="font-family: 'arial', 'helvetica', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;" data-mce-style="font-family: 'arial', 'helvetica', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;"><div><em>Language et Languages at the Crossroads of Disciplines </em>(LLcD: <a href="https://llcd.cnrs.fr/en/">https://llcd.cnrs.fr/en/</a>) is a new research network, supported by the French CNRS. The LLcD Meeting, slated to occur annually, is organized around an international conference in France, as well as a panel discussion and a summer school. The aim of the conference to advance the scientific understanding of human language and linguistic systems, as well as to foster new collaborations and cross-fertilization among different research areas and approaches. <br><br></div><div>Following the first edition of the conference (Sorbonne, Paris, September 9-11th, 2024), the next edition will take place at the University of Lille, France, on September 1-3, 2025 (<a href="https://llcd2025.sciencesconf.org/?lang=en">https://llcd2025.sciencesconf.org/?lang=en</a>). The conference is open to proposals in any area of linguistics.<br></div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div><div><strong>CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS</strong><br></div><br><div>At this stage, we invite workshop proposals on all sub-fields of linguistics, languages, approaches (descriptive, theoretical, empirical, interdisciplinary, etc.), in order to promote diversity across disciplines and methodologies. Each workshop will be organized in 30-minute slots for talks (20 min. presentation, 5 min. discussion, 5 min. room change) and must consist of at least 7 presentations. The languages of the conference will be English and French. <strong>Please note that this call is only for workshop proposals, and separate calls will be issued for the general session and for the summer school.</strong><br><br><strong>WORKSHOP PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS</strong><br><br>Workshop proposals will be formatted as a PDF document, containing the following information: <br><br> Workshop title and five keywords.<br><br> Convenors’ names, affiliations and emails. <br><br> Workshop description summarizing the main topic, research questions and objectives, including references (between 500 and 1000 words excluding references). The workshop description may additionally include a provisional collection of short abstracts (around 300 words) from foreseen speakers. The names of tentative keynote speakers may also be submitted (note however that LLcD will not be able to cover the associated expenses).<br><br><strong><em>Submission Deadlines and Details</em></strong><br><br>Workshop proposals should be submitted no later than January 10th, 2025. They will be reviewed by the scientific committee of LLcD and their inclusion in the conference program will be decided with the conference co-chairs.<br><br>Notification of acceptance/rejection of the proposal will be communicated by February 15th, 2025. The list of accepted workshop proposals will be published on the conference webpage (<span class="Object" role="link" id="OBJ_PREFIX_DWT737_com_zimbra_url"><a target="_blank" href="http://llcd2024.sciencesconf.org" rel="noopener" data-mce-href="http://llcd2024.sciencesconf.org">http://llcd2024.sciencesconf.org</a></span>), and a call for papers will then be issued by the organizers.
