Dear Linguists:
Last week I sent a message regarding the Heaviness Hierarchy. I
received one reply and two related enquiries. I wish to thank David
Gil at Singapore National University for his response. The reference
he provided appears as follows:
Gil, David. (1987). "On the Scope of Grammatical Theory," in S.
Modgil and C. Modgil eds., Noam Chomsky, Consensus and Controversy,
Falmer Press, Barcombe 119-141.
There are further references included in the above.
