This  book deals with the teaching of Arabic writing and pronunciation
from
the viewpoint of Modern linguistics, ie, structuralist linguistics. It
has three parts: One for vowels, long and short as well as other writing
marks; one for consonants; and one on the pronunciation of the definite
article al- in its qamari and shamsi forms.
Each letter or sound is presented separately and contrasted with other
sounds or letters. The book is the first of its kind in Arabic and is
suitable for every one with interest in Arabic language and linguistics.
