                  Position in Psycholinguistics
 
The Department of Linguistics and the Department of Cognitive Sciences at the
University of California, Irvine invite applications for a tenure-track
position.  We are seeking a person with a specialization in
psycholinguistics.  Qualified candidates with a secondary specialization in
any area of theoretical or computational linguistics are particularly
encouraged to apply.
 
Candidates should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae,
representative publications, and the names and addresses for at least three

University of South Carolina, Department of Anthropology and
African-American Studies Program anticipate joint appointment of an
Assistant Professor with tenure track in Anthropology.  Starting fall
1996.  Salary competitive.  Research:  Applicants should be involved
in research on the African Diaspora in the Americas or the Caribbean.
Special attention given to applicants working on contemporary issues
in Southeastern USA.  Teaching:  introduction to anthropology and
courses cross-listed with African-American Studies, both

Studies, BA and MA in anthropology.  Related programs in Latin
