              CENTRAL MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY
 
CMU wishes to announce a tenure-track position in applied
English linguistics with emphasis in English Grammar, ESL and
TESOL at the rank of assistant professor. Ability to teach Old
English and History of English preferred. Serious interest in at least
one of the following fields desired: second language acquisition,
discourse analysis, socio-linguistics, or reading. Ph.D. in English
linguistics, applied linguistics, or related field required. TESOL and
ESL teaching experience and publications preferred. Send

The Language Center at Inha University is seeking 16 native instructors of
English for Freshmen English Conversation.  MA/BA in TESL/EFL recommended
but not required.  All appointments begin from Feburary, 1996.  As of now,
the basic annual salary is $23,500 for MA holders, and $21,500 for BA
holders.  Basically a one-year appointmnt, renewable upon evaluation to a
two-year one.  The teaching load is 17 hours per week.  Medical insurance
