Can someone recommend good software, MAC, for producing
dictionaries, both TL-English, English-TL, and TL. I'm hoping there's
something better than the basic word-processing program for a big job
like this. Thanks.

 Dear linguists,

I am looking for hints about when, and maybe why,
the alphabetical order was defined.
I am mainly interested in the latin alphabet but I would also
appreciate information concerning other alphabets.

Regards,
