     LSA WORKSHOP: Linguistic Enterprises

On behalf of the LSA I am planning a workshop to be
held on Friday January 3 at the Sheraton-Chicago,
12:15 - 1:45pm. It will be the first in a series of
workshops on making a living as a linguist outside
of academia.

We are looking for linguists who have developed
successful small businesses or consultancies outside
of academia but using their linguistics training.

If you fit this description, and would be willing to
give a brief presentation at the workshop to tell how
you did it, please send a message by AUGUST 21 to:

LSA at LSADC.ORG Mark it - Attention Janet Fodor,

but do NOT send to me at MY email address since I will
be away and won't receive it.

Further information on the workshop will be posted in
a few weeks.
