We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

Hello, there!

Does anybody know whether Language and Linguistics Behavior Abstracts are
now available on CD-ROMs and if so, what the relevant contact e-mail
address/fax number might be? Any relevant information would be greatly
appreciated!
Thank you.

I am wondering if there are native speakers of Malayalam
or Kannada who would be willing to answer a few brief questions
about anaphoric binding in these languages. (This pertains to
my dissertation research.) Please contact me directly at
hamilton at sc.edu

Thank you,

Dear netters,

I'm looking for software for the linguistic analysis of original and
translated texts. Does anybody know about the existence of such a
software? And is there any software that can help in aligning both
original and translated texts (that is, sentence by sentence)?

I promise to post a resume.

Thank you.
