We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

Hi!

A friend of mine is currently working on a dissertation with the
title: "Speak after the beep! Problems arising out of communication
with telephone answering machines." The dissertation is
conversation-analytically oriented. Since he's just begun, he's
interested in literature on this subject as well as general
information, comments or suggestions.

I myself would like to know whether there's a special list for
Pragmatics / Conversational Analysis.

Thanks a lot! Stefan Goes.

Does anybody out there have any Albanian e-texts (Dictionaries,
Thesaurus,...) Any help would be appreciated, since I have only a
self-made file with about 21.000 words from the daily KIC-news (Kosova
Information Centre).

Thank you
