We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

We have been trying without success to locate an electronic corpus of
contemporary natural conversation in American English that is as
recent as at least 1980. We would appreciate any information anyone
has about the existence of such a corpus. Thanks.

Hi Everybody,

I was wondering if someone out there has a copy of the following
article by Grant Goodall:

- 'Spec of IP ans Spec of CP in Spanish wh-questions' paper read at the
Linguistic Symposium on Romance Languages 21.

I would really appreciate it if you would let me know. The other thing
is does anybody know Grant Goodall's e-mail address. Thanks in
advance, Nayla Yateem

I have a request from a South African English teacher who wants to
know of any Master's level programs in linguistics that might also
offer her financial aid. Any information about your program or
programs you know about would be helpful.

Thanks.
