This is a paraphrase of the announcement that appeared for the
position as full professor at G"teborgs universitet (G"teborg
University), Sweden. All the facts are here, but it is not a direct
translation.

Department of Swedish. Eligible are those who can demonstrate
scholarly and teaching ability.

Applicants must append the following to their application:

Item 1 and 2 must have arrived at the university no later than April
11, 1995. (There have been occasions where they have arrived by fax on
the last day. Probably not to be recommended. My remarks. Not to be
found in the official document). Items 3 and 4 must be delivered at
that time, or a separate application should be made (due at the same
time) in which are listed the contents of what you intend to send in
under 3 and 4. (Either turn it in at that time, or give them a list of
what you do intend to turn in). If you do not send in 3 and 4 at the
time of your application, then they must be sent in within 3 weeks
after the final date of application.

is not time-limited and will not be up for evaluation or anything like
that.
