We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

I am trying to find out where I can obtain a grammar book of
Lugudorese (Logudorese), a dialect spoken in Central Sardinia. Can
anybody help me out? Thank you!

Hello,

For my Ph.D. research, I would like to get in touch with Pennsylvania
German (native) speakers and/or people who know how to speak
"Pennsylvania German English". If you speak any of these two
languages or know of anybody who does, please let me know.

Thanks,
Doris Stolberg

Does anyone on the list know if the yearly SALSA conference will be
held during 1997? I believe this is usually held at the U. of Texas at
Austin but I have seen no announcements. Thank you.
