The Language Technologies Institute (LTI) at Carnegie Mellon
University announces new MS and PhD programs in the School of
Computer Science.  Specializations within the LTI degrees
include:
 
	Computational Linguistics
	Machine Translation
	Speech Understanding
	Information Retrieval
 
The MS and PhD programs will accept applications for the
1997-1998 academic year.  The application deadline is February 1,
