Two different notices were sent regarding the ARTFL project at the
University of Chicago, with two different addresses:

This is the site of The Tresor de la Langue Francais - where frequency
data can be found - literary texts up to 1970.

A computerized lexical database for French called Brulex has been
assembled (30,000 entries) with frequency information  from the TLF
database.  Details from acontent at ulb.ac.be

For general information on corpora, there is CORPORA set up in 1992
which "focuses on information and questions about text corpora, such
as availability, aspects of compiling and using corpora, software,
tagging, parsing, bibliography, and related matters."
