	ANNOUNCING A SPECIAL ISSUE OF LANGUAGE ACQUISITION
			on
	Specific Language Impairment (SLI) in Children.
	Guest Editor, Heather K.J. van der Lely

	The submission of papers for the special issue is requested
	on any topic related to the lingistic characterization of SLI
	in children, including but not limited to syntax, morphology
	and phonology, cross-linguistic perspectives, SLI and theories
	of language acquisition.  Data may be experimental, naturalistic
	or both.

	DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS:
	September 1, 1997

	Papers will be peer reviewed following the usual reviewing
	policies  of Language Acquisition.  Please follow the guidelines
	for submission to Language Acquisition and send 4 manuscript
	copies to:
