Hi everybody,

I'm looking for any materials relating to the topic of Finnish
morphology and syntax. I realize this is quite broad and there must be
tons out there, but it has been hard finding anything on these
subjects where I study. I would greatly appreciate any notes, articles
or information where I can find publications relating to either of
these topics. I'm also wondering if there is any type of syntax tree
building program out there for Win 95. I've run across 'Trees' for the
Mac platform but is there anything similar for IBM?

Much Appreciated,
Tyler Peterson

Subject: Q: how many languages on the Web?

I'm interested in a survey of language usage on the Web. Although
English is certainly the foremost, I know that some Web pages have
been published by, for example, Eskimos. For a start, I have 3
questions:

 1. How many languages are used to publish Web pages on the WWW.
 2. What is the estimated share of each language?
 3. What is the correlation between country/language?

I'll repost a summary of the answers.

Thanks,

Rimi Zajac

Dear Linguists,

For my thesis on Spanish and Dutch idioms, I need a the list of free
verbal word associations of Spanish. In the Netherlands it's not
available, so I hope someone can help me. You can send mail to my
e-mail number.

Thanks in advance
