We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

My student is doing research on how people respond to
compliments, and needs five male year 1 undergraduate students
studying language as their major to complete her questionnaire
for data collection. She'd prefer British English speakers.

Things are getting a bit desperate (it's hard to find this kind
of person in Hong Kong!), so if you can help, please respond *as
soon as possible* either to her (Judy Fung, e-mail
eg403643 at polyu.edu.hk) or to me.

The questionnaire is available as a Word 6 for Windows document
and can be sent as an attachment.

Looking forward to your offers of help!

I'm looking for a source that will give the conventionalized
Spanish equivalents of L2 terms such as "comprehensible input,"
etc.

(That is, it may be that these terms are different from what
might seem to be the "obvious" translation.)

I appreciate your time.
