Subject: correction: Books for intro syntax and semantics
The other day, I posted a summary of the textbooks for intro syntax
and semantics classes. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in it, as
mentioned by Thomas E. Payne. The mistake was in "books for syntax":
>Books for syntax:
>English Syntax: A Grammar for English Language Professionals, by
>Roderick A. Jacobs., Oxford University PRess.
>Radford's book Describing Morphosyntax: a Guide for Field Linguists,
>Cambridge
Here, "Radford's book" refers to the syntax book by Redford, and
"Describing Morphosyntax: a Guide for Field Linguists" refers to
another book, by Thomas E. Payne.
I apologize for the mistake, and thank you Thomas for the correction.
Sincerely,
Jen-i Li
