Subject:  New Information Workshop: "modeling pronunciation variation"

Below some new information on the workshop 'modeling pronunciation
variation for automatic speech recognition' can be found. This workshop
will be organized from 3-7 May 1998 in The Netherlands. New information
about the workshop is available at http://lands.let.kun.nl/pron-var/.

IMPORTANT DATES:

15-10-97: deadline for submission of abstract
18-12-97: notification of acceptance
16-02-98: deadline for early registration
16-03-98: deadline for receipt of camera ready copy of paper
03-05-98: start of the workshop

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Abstracts of original papers (i.e., papers not published elsewhere) may be
submitted either by post (4 copies) or by e-mail. Detailed information
about the format of the abstracts and the submission procedure can be
found on the workshop WWW site.
	Abstracts should not exceed 800 words (everything included). They
must be received no later than 15 October 1997. All abstracts must be
accompanied by the completed "abstract cover form" (which can be found at
the workshop WWW site or below).
	Notification of receipt of an abstract will only be sent by
E-mail. So make sure that you have specified your E-mail address
correctly.
