Dear Linguists,

For my doctoral research I am currently looking for books and articles
discussing the WRITTEN language of formerly illiterate people
participating in literacy programs. I am particularly interested in
frequently recurring 'problems' on the level of grammar, style and
spelling. Similar studies on the problems of young children acquiring
the basic writing skills are also of interest to me. I will be happy
to post a summary of your suggestions.

Friendly greetings,

I am looking for references on the syntax and semantics of head
internal relative clauses. I am currently working on Cree (Algonquian
language family). Any suggestion welcome! Thanks.

I'm looking for material on a group of nouns in Modern Hebrew
traditionaly called Segolates or Segolata. I hope some of you may
help me to get recent publications (or unpublished papers) concerning
this issue.

Thanks for your help,

DAFNA
