The Linguistics Department of the University of Colorado has a one-year
non-renewable position for an Instructor, for the AY 1999-2000.  Ph.D.
must be completed by start of classes on 16 August 1999.  Salary $20,000.
Teaching load, five courses, including MA-level Intro to Formal Syntax,
and two large undergraduate sociolinguistics courses.  The University of
 Colorado at Boulder is committed to diversity and equality in education
and employment.  Interviews will be held at the LSA meeting in Los Angeles.
