Limonese? It is spoken in isolated area of Puerto de Limon. I would

attitudes towards the various forms of English which arose and
established themselves in some of the now ex-British island colonies.
We would be grateful for any tips, literature or otherwise, regarding
her particular examples:- Jamaica, Ireland and Malta i.e. anything on
attitudes towards Jamaican Creole, Hiberno-English or Maltese English.

Subject: English multimedia
Hello..I'm currently involved in a small scale project at Sheffield
Hallam University attempting to find out if there is any multimedia
software relevant to the English subject knowledge that trainee
primary and secondary teachers are now required to have. Of
particular interest- given most trainee teachers' unfamiliarity with
linguistic notions/terminology- are any packages relating to
introductory level phonology, syntax, semantics, discourse
analysis. The terms used in the English National Curriculum documents
are three levels -of lexical, grammatical, textual. I want to try and
map on any existing available materials to the requirements for
teacher knowledge of the NC.
If you know of any material or of any contacts I might pursue, I'd be very
grateful to hear about them.
