I would like to know a specific bibliography or sites for the
structure verb+local adverb such as dare fuori, tirare su and so on in
the dialects of Italian. Are there forms like these in the Southern
Areas, which one can say it has no Standard Italian influence? I have
particular interest on the no-local meanings of these phrasal
verbs. Contrastive studies with English or no-indo-european languages
will be appreciated.

My name is Andrea Andrassyova from Slovakia. I am a student at the
faculty of education, Comenius University, Bratislava, studying
English and literature. I am working on a thesis entitled
"Bilingualism and its impact on learning foreign languages." More
specifically, the purpose of my study is to find out what kind of
advantages or disadvantages concerning the language abilities do
bilingual high school students have over the monolingual high school
students. I am having difficulties finding references for articles
that have been written on this topic. I am especially interested in
empirical studies and statistics, names of some linguists that have
done some research on this topic. I would also appreciate very much if
you could write me some of your possible experiences with this topic.
