Cognitive Scientists:

The proposal for new National Institutes of Health grant review panels for
the behavioral sciences has been released on the web:
www.csr.nih.gov/review/bssmain.htm

Cognitive research is primarily represented in BBS-1 (animal behavior),
BBS-3 (language & communication), BBS-4 (cognition & perception), BBS-5
(adult disorders), BBS-6 (developmental disorders), BBS-7 (motor & speech
control). There are intentional overlaps among the panels.

The public comment period lasts through October 9. You may take this
opportunity to send your input to the email address provided at the
website. Please also encourage your colleagues to take a look at the
proposal and send in comments.
