Dear Sir,
we are happy to inform you that on September, 14-18, 1999 in Moscow State
University at the Faculty of Philology will be held symposium "Theory and
practice of speech research (re-newed series of symposia "Speech recognition
and speech synthesis in Russia"). The symposium is prepared by Laboratory of
Phonetics and Speech Communication and by Center of New Technologies for
Humanities (URL:

of Faculty of Philology of MSU.
