Dear Listers:

I find myself trapped in determing the governing catergory when studying the
Binding theory. Although the textbook Introduction to Government and Binding
Theory (Haegeman, 1994) provides vivid descriptions on how to find governors
and accessible subject/SUBJECTs to bracket the binding domain, I am still
quite puzzled. Can anyone of you suggest any other easy-to-follow reference
books?

HI,
Can anyone think of a freeware phonetic font for Windows with a
nasalisation symbol? I was planning to use IPAPhon but cannot seem to find
the tilde anywhere. Or am I in need of a new pair of specs?
Best,
Marc
